Description A wrap for avocado lovers.
- 1 avocado
- 1 oz cream cheese
- 1 T dried cranberries
- 1 large flour tortilla
- At home: Put the cranberries in a small bag. Pack with everything else.
- Spread the cream cheese on the tortilla and sprinkle the cranberries on top.
- Take a paper towel and fold into quarters. Put that in your left palm, place the avocado on it. Carefully cut the avocado in half using a clean knife. Remove the pit carefully! Using your spoon, pop the flesh loose from the skin. Cut in slices carefully and place on the wrap.
- Roll up and eat.
Avocados are sturdier than you would think – just pad them with a paper towel or two and carry them in your mug. This is a great wrap for your second day out.[br]You can find shelf stable cream cheese at some grocery stores (look in the bakery) or carry regular cream cheese.[br]Be careful cutting the avocado – practice at home and remember….yes, you can pit it with a knife…..but don’t in the wilds! It is easy to cut yourself!
