A FBC friendly gluten-free dessert –
Warm Chia Seed Fruit Pudding & Crisp
- 1/2 c diced dried fruit
- 1 Tbsp chia seed
Pack dried fruit in a quart freezer bag. Pack chia in a small bag.
Cover fruit with near boiling water to rehydrate, let sit for 10 minutes or so. Add chia seed, dried fruit is pretty sweet to start with, so I don’t add sweetener. Seal it up, shake it a bit, put in a cozy for 15 minutes.
Becomes like pie filling that you can top with granola or cookie crumbs, for a fruit “crisp”.
