If you have candied pecans even better. For an adult rush, use spicy pecans.
1 packet is 1 "sleeve" of graham crackers. You can substitute in other dry cookies as well, you will need about 1 1/4 cups crushed cookies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graham_cracker

At home:
Crush the graham crackers into crumbs, pack in a sandwich bag with the pecans and sugar. Put the chocolate chips and milk in a quart freezer bag.
In camp:
Add 1/4 cup water to the chocolate bag. Bring a small pot of water to a gentle simmer (warm). Turn off the heat. Dip the tightly sealed chocolate bag to melt the chocolate. When melted, add the graham cracker crumb bag to the chocolate bag and knead to mix thoroughly. Eat warm with long handled spoons or let it cool and break into chunks.
Serves 1-4. Depends on what you consider dessert! If you love dessert then assume it will serve more like 1-2.

Chocolate is always kids favorite!
Chocolate is always kids favorite. Kids as well as adults able to enjoy the sweet taste of chocolate equally. It also serves as an energy booster especially needed during hiking, camping or any outdoor activity.
Good even in the heat
I made this last night for my son on his first Scout campout. It was a billion degrees outside so I chilled it in the cooler for a couple hours. It was the hit of the campout! I will be making this again. I used coffee creamer instead of dried milk and I wish I had had pecans but it was still awesome!
