Hearty and quick rice dish.
At home bag all the dry ingredients in a quart freezer or sandwich bag (depending on method chosen). Tuck the olive oil packet in with it.
FBC method:
Add the oil and near boiling water to the bag. Stir well, seal tightly and put in a cozy for 15 minutes.
Mug method:
Add the dry ingredients, oil and boiling water to your mug. Stir well, cover tightly and let sit for 15 minutes.
One pot method:
Bring the oil and water to a boil. Turn off the heat and add in the dry ingredients. Stir well, cover tightly and set aside for 15 minutes. In cool temperatures or at altitude use a pot cozy to retain heat.

The key is you have to use instant rice (commercially made or rice that has been cooked and dehydrated at home). Regular raw rice will not work.
Enjoying our first FBC
We wanted to try out your recipes and were not disappointed. It did take a few trips to various supermarkets to find all the ingredients but it was well worth it. By the time I go to the bottom of this Chicken Rice meal, I found myself licking the spoon and looking for more!
