A wrap for avocado lovers.
| 1 | avocado | |
| 1 | oz | cream cheese |
| 1 | T | dried cranberries |
| 1 | large flour tortilla |
At home: Put the cranberries in a small bag. Pack with everything else.
Spread the cream cheese on the tortilla and sprinkle the cranberries on top.
Take a paper towel and fold into quarters. Put that in your left palm, place the avocado on it. Carefully cut the avocado in half using a clean knife. Remove the pit carefully! Using your spoon, pop the flesh loose from the skin. Cut in slices carefully and place on the wrap.
Roll up and eat.
Avocados are sturdier than you would think - just pad them with a paper towel or two and carry them in your mug. This is a great wrap for your second day out.
You can find shelf stable cream cheese at some grocery stores (look in the bakery) or carry regular cream cheese.
Be careful cutting the avocado - practice at home and remember....yes, you can pit it with a knife.....but don't in the wilds! It is easy to cut yourself!
