Description Vegetarian rice pilaf for the mushroom lover.
  • 1 c instant rice
  • 2 T crumbled dried mushrooms
  • 1 T dry milk
  • 1 1⁄2 c water
  • 2 T dry cream of mushroom soup mix
  1. At home pack all the ingredients in a quart freezer or sandwich bag.
  2. Freezer bag method:
  3. Add 1 1/2 cups near boiling water. Stir well, seal tightly and put in cozy for 15 minutes. Stir well.
  4. Insulated mug method:
  5. Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water to dry ingredients. stir well, cover tightly and let sit for 15 minutes. Stir well.
Use 2 to 4 Tablespoons dry mix, or to taste. Look on the blog for dry mixes we have developed.[br]Dry weight: 5.5 ounces
